Userguide for requesting your business meetings



Attention! Please note that the business meetings have to be requested directly by the participating companies by booking their individual meeting requests via the official web site of the event under the section « YOUR MEETING REQUESTS ». All the registered cooperation profiles (CP) in the virtual b2fair database are checked and validated within 3 working days of receipt of your registration. Once the due inscription fee paid, your cooperation profile will then be displayed in the « ONLINE CATALOGUE » of the event.

HOW TO IDENTIFY & SEARCH FOR POTENTIAL BUSINESS PARTNERS?


The registration process for the international “b2fair Pollutec 2012” matchmaking event is very simple. Once you have registered and received your username and password ( access codes) via your local partner organisation ( ->see under « Partner List »), your cooperation profile will be displayed in the online catalogue of the matchmaking event. You can now start to look for potential cooperation profiles which might be of a specific interest for your company in the online catalogue. Furthermore, the online catalogue also offers you the possibility to select interesting cooperation profiles with the help of a search engine. After having identified and selected your potential business partners, you can then submit your individual meeting requests in the section « Your meeting requests ». A list of both the individual contacts requested directly from your side as well as the ones asked by other companies can regularly be consulted under this section of our website.

HOW TO REQUEST MEETINGS WITH POTENTIAL PARTNERS? 


Your appointment requests should be booked online under the section  « Your meetins requests » by using your personal access codes (password and username). These will be issued to you after your registration and following the confirmation of your participation in the event. In case you should be facing any difficulty while booking your individual meeting requests online, you can also directly contact your local partner organisation or send an email to the b2fair COORDINATION UNIT of the event that can assist and advice you at any time ( pollutec@b2faironline.com ou b2fair@cc.lu).

THE BILATERAL BUSINESS MEETINGS 


  • Business meetings:

You can consult at any time your provisional appointment schedule in the section « Your meetins requests ». In your personal planning of appointments, you will find all the meeting requests planned for your company. Besides, your individual meeting schedule records the exact times, counterparts and details relevant to the respective meeting places. During the “b2fair Pollutec 2012” matchmaking event, a printed version of your final appointment schedule will be handed over to you. Your appointment schedule will be regularly updated throughout the different business contact days in order to give you the opportunity to allow you additional appointment instances on the spot.

  • Duration of the meetings:

30 minutes: Bilateral business meetings
15 minutes: Break / Preparation time to go to the next appointment
 

  • Meeting Places:

For the exhibitors: the b2fair business meetings will directly take place on your exhibition booth. On specific request which can directly be formulated in the online registration form, the bilateral business meetings can also take place in the “b2fair Pollutec 2012” Matchmaking Area.

For the visitors: all the bilateral business meetings with other visiting companies will take place in the “b2fair Pollutec 2012” Matchmaking Area. The business meetings with exhibiting companies will directly be arranged on the respective exhibition booths.

TRANSMISSION OF YOUR PERSONAL APPOINTMENT SCHEDULE


In the section « Your meeting requests » which can be viewed by using your personal access codes, you will have the possibility to monitor at any time your individual appointment schedule, to decline meeting requests asked by other participants, to add new meeting requirements and to print or download your provisional meeting schedule.

  • A few days prior to the “b2fair Pollutec 2012” matchmaking event, the b2fair Coordination Unit will inform you of your provisional appointment schedule which can also be downloaded at any time in the section « Your meeting requests » . Over the 4 business contact days, the companies participating in the matchmaking event can have a maximum of XX individual business meetings arranged.
    If you want more business meetings to be arranged for your company, we invite you to register for the event with 2 or more company representatives and to ask your business meetings to be scheduled separately during the event. This option can also directly be defined in the online registration form under the section  « Registration »  of our website.
  • Updates: Throughout the whole event, you will receive several updates of your individual appointment schedule at the b2fair Information Counter. The exact times of the handing out of the respective updates will be communicated to you at a later stage.
